ABOUT THE TRAINING
Armed Security Guard Training is the separate firearms course for security personnel who need armed/firearms training documentation. It does not replace the Basic Security Guard Training course.
The Classroom portion manages enrollment, course material, written assessment, records, and certificate selections. The firearms practical and range qualification portions require instructor-led, in-person completion.
Initial / New and Renewal / Refresher paths are handled during enrollment where applicable. Jurisdiction-specific documentation choices for Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo remain tied to the student’s Classroom record.
