General: This memorandum serves as a comprehensive reference for contractors, employees, students, guests, and customers, providing guidance on various relevant subjects. These include appropriate attire, safeguarding oneself against natural elements, ensuring personal safety during range activities, adhering to uniform regulations, and understanding refund policies.

Personal Protection from Natural Elements: At Triple A Coach LLC, we strongly advise all individuals participating in our courses and events to prioritize appropriate attire based on the prevailing weather conditions. It is important to note that Triple A Coach LLC cannot be held liable for any injuries resulting from negligence in this regard, including but not limited to sunburns, injuries caused by extreme heat or cold, knee scrapes, rashes, insect bites, or allergies.

While not obligatory, Triple A Coach LLC may provide bug spray, sunblock, and EpiPens for the convenience of our customers, guests, and other individuals. However, it is important to note that the use of these items is entirely at the individual’s own risk. Triple A Coach LLC cannot be held responsible for any adverse reactions or consequences that may arise from the use of these products.

In the event that any individuals associated with Triple A Coach LLC are susceptible to risks such as extreme heat, cold weather, allergic reactions, or any other conditions that may not be commonly known, it is their responsibility to promptly inform Triple A Coach LLC employees. By doing so, we can take appropriate measures to ensure their safety and well-being during our courses and events. Open communication regarding any potential risks is crucial for us to provide a secure environment for all participants.

Personal Protection from Range Activities: The majority of Triple A Coach LLC training sessions primarily involve range activities, including shooting, running, crawling, driving vehicles, shooting in and around various barriers made of wood, metal, or plastic, engaging with targets made of wood, metal, or plastic, as well as navigating obstacles such as vehicles. In order to ensure safety and optimal performance, Triple A Coach LLC strongly advises all participants to wear the appropriate clothing specifically designed for such activities. While certain items may be mandatory, there are others that are highly encouraged, and exceptions may be made based on the nature of the event.

For all pistol range activities, it is mandatory to wear both eye protection and ear protection. Additionally, Triple A Coach LLC highly encourages participants to wear gloves, long sleeves, pants, belts, and other appropriate coverings. These additional protective measures are strongly recommended to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals involved in the activities.

During tactical rifle range activities, it is essential to wear both eye and ear protection as a mandatory safety measure. Triple A Coach LLC also strongly encourages participants to wear gloves, long sleeves, pants, belts, and other suitable coverings. These additional protective measures are highly recommended to enhance safety and minimize any potential risks associated with the activities.

During long-range rifle activities, it is mandatory to wear ear protection to ensure auditory safety. The necessity of eye protection may vary depending on the venue. For instance, at Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex, eye protection is required for all range activities. Triple A Coach LLC strongly encourages participants to wear gloves, long sleeves, pants, belts, and other appropriate coverings during these activities. These additional protective measures are highly recommended to promote safety and minimize potential risks.

It is important to note that suppressors are not considered a valid substitute for ear protection during any activities. Therefore, ear protection remains mandatory for all participants engaging in Triple A Coach LLC activities. While suppressors may help reduce the noise level to some extent, they do not provide sufficient protection against potential hearing damage. Therefore, it is crucial to wear proper ear protection in addition to any other safety measures in place.

The final authority regarding the personal protection equipment required for range activities lies with the training venues. It is important to adhere to the guidelines and regulations set forth by the specific training venue hosting the activities. Their instructions regarding the necessary personal protection equipment, such as eye and ear protection, should be followed without exception. Triple A Coach LLC emphasizes the importance of respecting and complying with the rules and requirements established by the training venues to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

Uniforms for Employees: The official colors of Triple A Coach LLC are orange and black, with white being an acceptable substitute. Shirts without a logo are permitted to be in any of these three colors or a combination thereof. This allows flexibility for participants to choose their attire while still representing the Triple A Coach LLC brand.

Triple A Coach LLC is committed to making every effort to provide proper shirts with the Triple A Coach LLC logo, as depicted in the top left of this memo. The available shirt options include black shirts with an orange logo, white shirts with a black logo, white shirts with an orange logo, or orange shirts with a black logo.

It is mandatory for all employees or contractors to wear shirts in these specified colors, even in the absence of a uniformed shirt. This ensures consistency and promotes a professional image for Triple A Coach LLC.

Refunds: Refund eligibility is determined by considering various factors, including but not limited to weather conditions, customer cancellations, range availability, natural disasters, and the availability of Triple A Coach employees. This policy aims to encompass these factors and provide appropriate guidelines for refund situations. In cases where the specific situation is not covered by this policy, Triple A Coach LLC retains the discretion to refund the monies as necessary. The ultimate goal is to ensure fair and reasonable refund practices for our customers.

Weather: Triple A Coach LLC diligently monitors various weather applications and makes efforts to communicate with customers regarding potential rescheduling options if needed. However, it is important to acknowledge that weather can be extremely unpredictable, and even the best applications cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in predicting weather conditions. There are two different categories for weather: Category One, Triple A Coach LLC employees have started their movement to the range. Category Two, Triple A Coach LLC employees have not started their movement to the range.

In the event that Triple A Coach LLC employees have already started their movement to the range, refund eligibility is non-existent, and requests for refunds will be denied. However, rescheduling options are available and encouraged without any penalty.

On the other hand, if Triple A Coach LLC employees have not yet started their movement to the range, customers are eligible for refunds upon request. Alternatively, rescheduling options are also available without any penalty

Triple A Coach LLC aims to accommodate customers to the best of its ability while considering the unpredictable nature of weather conditions.

Customer Cancellation: Triple A Coach LLC recognizes that unforeseen circumstances and emergencies can arise, causing customers to cancel their scheduled events. In such cases, if a customer cancels within two days (48 hours) of the event, Triple A Coach LLC will provide a full refund for that event less the non-refundable deposit.

However, if the cancellation occurs within the two-day window, Triple A Coach LLC may not refund the full amount or may issue a partial refund, depending on the specific situation. The decision regarding refunds within this timeframe will be made on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration the circumstances involved.

Rescheduling options are always available and strongly encouraged by Triple A Coach LLC. Rescheduling an event is not penalized, and customers are encouraged to reschedule rather than cancel whenever possible.

Triple A Coach LLC understands that life can be unpredictable, and the company aims to be flexible and accommodating to its customers while maintaining fairness and sustainability in its refund policies.

Range Availability: Occasionally a range may not be available due to an unforeseen closure, overbooking or double booking, wildlife, natural disasters, or other reasons that may not be listed. Triple A Coach LLC will do everything possible to secure a range to train customers on the day they would like training, if that is not possible an alternate day may be required to schedule. If the range availability changes after a class has been scheduled, Triple A Coach LLC will refund all monies for that event.

Natural Disasters: In the event of a natural disaster that prevents the movement of employees or customers, Triple A Coach LLC will refund the monies for that day’s event. The safety and well-being of employees and customers are of utmost importance, and in such circumstances, it is necessary to prioritize their welfare. Triple A Coach LLC understands the impact of natural disasters and is committed to providing refunds to ensure customer satisfaction and address the unforeseen challenges caused by these events.

Employee Availability: In the event of a change in employee availability for scheduled classes, Triple A Coach LLC will refund the monies for that day’s event. Triple A Coach LLC recognizes the importance of having qualified and available instructors for a successful class experience. If unforeseen circumstances arise that result in a change in employee availability, the company understands the need to provide a refund to ensure customer satisfaction and address any inconvenience caused. The goal is to maintain the highest level of service and professionalism in all scheduled classes.

Scheduling and Rescheduling: A non-refundable $20 deposit will be collected when scheduling any class. The deposit is a good faith deposit that the customer will non cancel and if they cancel for what ever reason, they will reschedule at a later date. The deposit is part of the course fee and will be deducted as such. As an example, if a customer schedules a $100 class, they will deposit $20 and the day of they will pay the remaining $80.

Liability: All Triple A Coach LLC participants are required to sign the hold harmless agreement before the start of any training. This harmless agreement remains in effect until the participant revokes the agreement in writing and sends it to dave@tripleacoach.com. The hold harmless agreement is a legal document that helps protect Triple A Coach LLC from liability and ensures that participants understand and accept the risks associated with the training activities. It is important for participants to carefully read and understand the terms of the hold harmless agreement before signing it.

Shooting Steel: Shooting steel targets can indeed be fun, rewarding, and exciting. However, it is important to acknowledge that it also poses potential hazards that could cause injury to anyone in the vicinity. This policy is specifically designed to mitigate those potential risks associated with shooting steel targets. While it aims to minimize the likelihood of accidents or injuries, it may not completely eliminate all risks.

Triple A Coach LLC takes safety seriously and implements measures to ensure a safe shooting environment. However, it is crucial for participants to follow all safety guidelines, instructions, and rules provided by Triple A Coach LLC. This includes wearing appropriate protective gear, maintaining a safe distance from the targets, and adhering to all safety protocols. By adhering to this policy and exercising caution, participants can enjoy the excitement of shooting steel targets while minimizing the potential risks involved.

Pistol: As part of our commitment to safety, Triple A Coach LLC strictly prohibits shooting any caliber pistol typically designed for pistols, such as 9mm, 45 Colt, .380, .38 Special, or other pistol cartridges, at any steel target within a distance of 10 yards.

Rifle: As part of our commitment to safety, Triple A Coach LLC strictly prohibits shooting any caliber rifle typically designed for rifles, such as 5.56, .223 Remington, 7.62×51, 7.62×39, or other rifle cartridges, at any steel target within a distance of 50 yards.

Medical Procedures: Triple A Coach LLC places a strong emphasis on safety and conducts a comprehensive safety brief before the start of each range activity. The purpose of this safety brief is to educate customers about potential hazards that can occur during range operations and to provide guidance on how to protect oneself from these hazards.

The safety brief covers a wide range of potential hazards, including but not limited to shrapnel from shooting steel targets, shrapnel from neighboring ranges, accidental discharge into hard surfaces, bodily injury due to accidental discharge, bee stings, snake bites, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, frostbite, windburn, and sunburn. By informing customers about these hazards, Triple A Coach LLC aims to increase awareness and promote proactive measures to mitigate risks.

It is important to note that even with awareness and mitigation efforts, there is always a potential for injury and, in extreme cases, death. Triple A Coach LLC takes safety seriously and implements measures to minimize risks, but it is crucial for customers to understand and accept the inherent risks associated with shooting activities.

By providing a thorough safety brief, Triple A Coach LLC strives to empower customers with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed decisions and prioritize their safety during range activities.

Most Dangerous Risk – Gunshot Injury: Triple A Coach LLC acknowledges that holstering a pistol, particularly with the appendix carry option, can be a potentially dangerous action. The company recognizes the inherent risks involved and takes precautions to ensure that customers are properly trained and educated on safe holstering techniques.

Holstering a pistol, especially in the appendix carry position, requires careful attention to detail and adherence to proper procedures. Triple A Coach LLC emphasizes the importance of proper training, including understanding the mechanics of the holster, maintaining trigger discipline, and practicing safe handling techniques.

The potential for accidental discharge and the resulting damage can indeed be catastrophic. Triple A Coach LLC prioritizes safety and provides thorough instruction and guidance to customers to minimize the risks associated with holstering a pistol. This includes emphasizing the importance of maintaining a safe direction, keeping the finger off the trigger until ready to shoot, and ensuring that the holster is secure and properly fitted.

By focusing on proper training, education, and adherence to safety protocols, Triple A Coach LLC aims to mitigate the potential dangers associated with holstering a pistol, particularly with the appendix carry option. The company is committed to promoting safe practices and ensuring the well-being of its customers during range activities.

Most Likely Risk – Shrapnel: Triple A Coach LLC recognizes that the most likely injury that may occur during range activities is the potential for shrapnel to penetrate the skin. However, it is important to note that in most cases, shrapnel from shooting steel targets or from neighboring ranges is unlikely to penetrate the skin and typically only causes slight irritation, if anything.

While the likelihood of shrapnel penetrating the skin is low, Triple A Coach LLC still emphasizes the importance of wearing appropriate protective gear, such as eye and ear protection, to further mitigate any potential risks. Additionally, customers are encouraged to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided during the safety brief to ensure a safe shooting experience.

Most Probable Risk – Natural Elements: Triple A Coach LLC acknowledges that the most probable cause of injury during range activities can be attributed to natural elements such as sunburn, insect bites, and bee stings. These environmental factors can pose risks to participants, and the company takes steps to address and mitigate these potential hazards.

To prevent sunburn, Triple A Coach LLC encourages participants to apply sunscreen before and during outdoor range activities, wear protective clothing, and seek shade when necessary. Additionally, the company may provide shaded areas or canopies to offer protection from direct sunlight.

To minimize the risk of insect bites and bee stings, Triple A Coach LLC advises participants to use insect repellent, wear appropriate clothing to cover exposed skin, and be cautious of their surroundings. In the event of a bee sting or allergic reaction, the company may have first aid measures in place and access to medical assistance if needed.

Medical Equipment on Site: Triple A Coach LLC understands that minor injuries can happen, and having basic first aid supplies on hand allows for prompt and appropriate treatment. These supplies may include adhesive bandages, antiseptic wipes, and basic wound care materials.

In addition to minor first aid equipment, Triple A Coach LLC also recognizes the importance of being prepared for more serious injuries, including major bleeding. The company ensures that it has appropriate supplies such as gauze, wraps, and tourniquets available to address significant bleeding and provide initial care until professional medical assistance can be obtained if necessary.

By having these first aid supplies readily accessible, Triple A Coach LLC aims to provide immediate assistance and support in the event of injuries during range activities. Participants can have peace of mind knowing that measures are in place to address both minor and more severe injuries, promoting a safe and secure training environment.

Triple A Coach LLC prioritizes the safety and well-being of its participants and is prepared to respond to major emergencies, including gunshot wounds. In the event of a major emergency, Triple A Coach LLC will promptly render aid to the best of its ability while also directing someone to call 911 for the next level of professional medical care.

Emergencies: Triple A Coach LLC recognizes that major emergencies require immediate medical attention beyond what can be provided on-site. Therefore, the company’s priority is to provide initial aid and support until professional medical responders arrive to take over the care of the injured individual.

Triple A Coach LLC will continue to render aid until the next level of care adequately relieves them. This ensures that the injured individual receives the necessary medical attention and that the transition of care is seamless.
