Do you teach children firearms safety?
Yes! We teach children safety and believe that it’s important to teach them early. We like to take the curiosity away so that they would be less likely to pick up firearm without parental supervision because “its cool,” but if they did pick a firearm up without parental supervision at least they would understand the basic safety required.

We love new shooters! Not only are we the best to teach new shooters, we will make sure that the shooter is comfortable and we can provide various types of firearms that do not kick or have a loud noise.
What ranges would you recommend?
Ranges we recommend are outdoor ranges that are well ran. The two in this area are Pikes Peak Gun Club and Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex. Indoor ranges are good too, however the noise that is associated with shooting a firearm is multiplied by 10, lead is more contained, and most times than not these ranges cost more than outdoor ranges.
How long does it take to get a Concealed Carry permit?
A permit in Colorado takes 2-4 months after application pending any complications. See the El Paso County Sheriff’s department list of verified instructors here.
What firearm would you recommend for self defense?
That’s a loaded question, pun intended. The simple answer is the firearm that the person who bears it is comfortable, confident, and capable of using it in self defense. However, how is a new shooter going to find that firearm? We can provide a plethora of firearm on the range for someone to shoot and we will make a recommendation based on their hand size, apprehension, confidence, skill, and cognitive ability.
